Money Cannot Bring Happiness
Once there was a rich businessman named Mr. Sharma who lived in a grand mansion, wore expensive clothes, and owned the latest cars. People in the town envied his wealth and believed he must be the happiest man alive.
But Mr. Sharma was not happy at all. He had no real friends, rarely saw his family, and spent most of his days stressed about money, competition, and business deals. He often felt lonely and anxious, despite having everything money could buy.
One day, while driving through the countryside, his car broke down. Frustrated, he walked to a nearby village for help. There, he saw a poor farmer and his family laughing and sharing a simple meal under a tree. The children were playing with sticks and stones, and their joy was contagious.
Mr. Sharma was puzzled. “How can they be so happy with so little?” he thought.
The farmer noticed him and invited him to share their food. Mr. Sharma hesitated but joined. As they talked, he realized they had something he didn’t — love, peace, and contentment.
That day, he learned that happiness doesn’t come from wealth, but from the heart.
